Hello, my name is Theresa Oliverio. Welcome to my classroom website! This will serve as my second year of teaching at my alma-mater, Louisville High School.
In 2012, I graduated from Walsh University with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in both English and Integrated Language Arts Education. I also minored in Creative Writing and Communication. In December of 2016, I earned my Master of Arts Degree in English through Ohio Dominican University.
For the 2017-18 school year, I will be teaching English III (American Literature) and College Credit Plus Composition I and Composition II through Stark State. This website will serve as an important communication tool for students and parents. Here, you will be able to access daily homework, due date reminders, class notes/handouts, as well as links to helpful websites. This will be especially beneficial as LHS converts to a one-to-one technology system and each student is supplied a ChromeBook. I want to see you succeed!
*A Note For Parents/Guardians: If you should ever encounter a problem, or have any questions or concerns, I strongly encourage you to contact me. The quickest way to contact me is through email; however, if you wish to speak to me over the phone please do not hesitate to call! You may find my contact information in the above link. Also, if you have any questions about classroom rules/expectations for this school year, a syllabus will come home with your student during the first week of school. You may also refer back to this website for an electronic version under each listed class.
